History

Forestal Anchile Ltda. was founded on June 2nd 1989 in Santiago, Chile as an affiliate of the Japanese companies Daio Paper Corporation and Itochu Corporation to create a forestry property in the South of Chile and to supply raw materials (chips) to the Pulp Mills of the companies located in Japan.

Forestal Anchile Ltda. has approximately 25,000 ha of Native Forest destined for conservation and for protecting soil and water resources; it has as a policy, their conservation and analyzing the feasibility of managing these following new Native Forest development policies.
